玄箱/Pro に HS-DHGL の HDD


HS-DHGL 新型は玄箱/Pro とほぼ同じハードウェアになったのだから、 玄箱/Pro で LS-GL や HS-DHGL の標準ファームやハックキットが動けば LS-GL や HS-DHGL を動作確認用に温存しておく必要がなくなる。
動作確認用に温存しておくのは玄箱/Pro だけで良くなるのである。

HS-DHGL でハックキット+延長対応ハック de 録!! 外部チューナコントロールつきをセットアップした HDD を BUFFALO からの購入製品である(しつこい) 玄箱/Pro につないで boot してみる。

玄箱/Pro は initrd を使っていないので、うまく立ちあがらんやろな。

ハックキットは、initrd を使っていない。
(正確には、わざわざ initrd 内での処理を 無効化して initrd を使っている。)
なので、玄箱/Pro の U-Boot の設定でも問題なく起動してきた。

でも、initrd の /linuxrc でいろいろなことをやっているので、 それを実行しないとするなら、 標準ファームの「動作確認」とは言えそうにない。

LS-GL/HS-DHGL 標準ファームを玄箱/Pro で「動作」させるには U-Boot の設定(変数の設定)が必要。
逆に言えば、 U-Boot の設定(変数の設定)が必要だが、 玄箱/Pro で LS-GL/HS-DHGL 標準ファームを 玄箱/Pro で「動作」させられるだろう。
